On the afternoon of April 22nd, the DEMO Traction Spring event took place. It was an opportunity for a variety of later stage startups to get together in San Francisco and present their company to a panel of experts.
In the marketing category, Unmetric was up against some formidable startups which included Beachfront Media, Candy Lab, DocSend and GuestU. Judging the companies was a panel of experts along with the audience.
Each startup got 4 minutes of presentation time on the stage to explain to the judges and audiences their product, strategy and growth to date.
The presentations and companies were judged on their ability to present a great product, its position in the market and compelling features, and what differentiates it from the others. As Erick Schonfeld, Executive Producer of DEMO, put it:
