Two months in to the New Year and brands are on the look out for interesting ways to engage with their followers. February being the month of love, the campaign script has already been written for most brands, all that changed was the execution as brands came up with innovative ways to make followers fall in love with them.
On Facebook, Woolworths Australia conducted a “comment to win” campaign, where followers commented to win a romantic gift for their loved ones.
On Twitter, the founder of the Virgin Group, Richard Branson chose to give a million frequent flyer miles away to one lucky winner through the Virgin Australia Twitter handle. The campaign caused a huge spike in the mentions rate.
Finally, on YouTube, Playstation Australia uploaded the trailer for the much awaited game “Outlast”, which is the most viewed on their channel.
