With attentions spans becoming smaller, and the world of social media getting crowded. Brands from the United Kingdom have to stand out to not only be noticed but to also be engaging. Campaigns have to be both interesting and different. March was a month of contests, updates, charity and more.

Premier Inn, Hotpoint and Freeview ran contests on Facebook to keep their fans engrossed. On Twitter the charity campaign #browarchmarch created lots of buzz for Benefit Cosmetics and Adidas’ football updates were relished by followers, while Nokia MixRadio ran a contest using the hashtag #MixRadioDiscovery.

On YouTube, Pepsi pranked their fans in the #Livefornow campaign and quickly become the most viewed video on their channel for the months of March and scored views in the millions. The unveiling of the Honda Civic type R concept on Honda’s YouTube channel saw a drastic growth rate and Virgin Money’s 3 minute long video kept fans engrossed and was the most viewed video on their channel.
