February was a month of fun and love as brands leveraged both Super Bowl and Valentine’s Day in a bid to drive engagement among its fans and followers across social channels.

On Facebook, Tiffany & Co celebrated Valentine’s Day by letting its fans send a personalized Valentine’s Day gift to their loved ones, while Air Wick ran a Valentine’s Day contest and Coach gave away discount vouchers.

On Twitter, JetBlue promised a Valentine’s Day treat for its followers and Chevrolet asked its followers to pledge their support to World Cancer Day by turning their profile pictures purple. Esurance set the Twitterverse abuzz with its epic $1.5 million giveaway and so did Samsung Mobile with the launch of the Galaxy S5 mobile phone.

Of the videos uploaded in February, the Super Bowl commercials were the most watched videos on YouTube in February with Maserati’s ‘Ghibli’ video coming on top with more than 12 million views, while Chrysler’s spot featuring Bob Dylan garnered more than 11 million views.
