Facebook’s update makes your news feed more relevant

Facebook has announced new features called ‘Story Bumping’ and ‘Last Actor’ to keep important posts from getting buried by more recent posts and to make the newsfeed more relevant. Story Bumping allows engaging posts that hasn’t been viewed by the user to be bumped up to the top of the News Feed later in the day. Last Actor takes into account the last 50 engagements a user has performed and gives a slight bump up in the News Feed rankings.
