Best of Christmas on Social Media

Cookies, presents, eggnog and celebrations everywhere – now that’s what a perfect month looks like. In short, that’s December. We keep doing serious blog posts about social media ROI, metrics, lessons for marketers and all that. With the holiday mood setting in, I decided this is going to be one of the lighter, fun blog posts that’s simply about lovely posts and videos that makes us feel warm, like sipping on a hot cup of cocoa.
This post is going to be entirely focussed on Christmas content. They’re a combination of the top performing content found using Unmetric (along with a few personal favorites).
Everyone in the office unanimously agreed on this being the best christmas video of the year:
Though the video below received almost twice the views, we favored the fluffy cat over the diabolic grandpa.

We personally weren’t too moved by John Lewis’s Man on the moon story this year, but we’re fans of their previous videos. Burberry choreographed this sequence with Romeo Beckham starring in it:
And the Christmas at Tesco was so bright with all the lights.
This video from John Lewis took us into a very Disney like magical universe. If you close your eyes, you’ll see Bambi come alive.
What’s not to love with presents in an airport and so many smiles. Don’t you wish you got a few of those?
