November kicks off the holiday season with Thanksgiving, Black Friday and early bird Christmas campaigns, it’s the month everyone looks forward to. Many brands leveraged the occasion while also creating diverse campaigns. Join Unmetric as we take a look at the state of brands in the world of Social Media.
On Facebook, Philips experienced a fan growth rate of 592%. Aeropostale’s #WishForIt campaign engaged 3 times better than a campaign from an average brand in the Retail Sector. KLM, Heineken and T-Mobile also found their way to the top of their respective sectors.
Audi’s #WantAnR8 contest received high engagement on Twitter while Walt Disney’s #VeryMerry hashtag was used more than 4,000 times.
No prizes for guessing the top YouTube video of the month. Van Damme’s epic split for Volvo, with over 60 million views, was it. Kmart’s “Show your Joe” and John Lewis’s “Bear and the Hare” Christmas video also made it to the top.
