Writing an eBook for content marketers isn’t easy. That’s because content marketing isn’t easy. Seemingly every week there are new platforms, new tools and new trends that change the game from marketers. To keep up you have to move fast. But sometimes it pays to slow down, go back to the basics and get advice from practitioners with in-the-field experience.
That was our approach for our first eBook – An Insider’s Guide to Microcontent. We took a look at the entire content marketing process, from planning to activation all the way to post-campaign measurement. Not only did we look at some of the best work from our clients, like Lowe’s, but we also studied what others have done as well on a variety of platforms.
We felt it was also critical to get input from a wide variety of outside voices. The eBook starts with an intro from Altimeter analyst Rebecca Lieb and features industry experts like Olivier Blanchard and Ekaterina Walter – people who literally wrote the book(s) on social media. We also spoke to agency and brand marketers at places like McDonald’s, Adobe and MRY to learn what they’re doing to get the best results.
We wrapped all that up with key insights from our own platform to create an eBook that’s accessible if you’re just starting, but also goes deep enough for savvy veterans. We hope you’ll enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed creating it.
