Week 22 Top Viral Brand Videos – One more reason to not pick your nose in public

This week, the top 5 viral brand videos are longer than in previous weeks with an average length of a minute and a half. Each video is very different from the next and come from a diverse selection of brands and sectors.
#1/ Pick Of The Day
Be careful where you pick and especially what you pick. In the video a fan who is completely oblivious to the fact that he is caught on the big screen searching for gold, if you know what I mean! During an AFL game, Kia Australia swoops in and grabs the opportunity to suggest that the miner in question wouldn’t feel quite so uncomfortable in the all new Cerato. The video received a whopping one million new views in just 3 days.
Schweppes, the beverage brand, a sponsor at Cannes 2013 has come up with this video from their event called Villa Schweppes. The electronic music producer, Yuksek and the actress cum singer, Alka Balbir are interviewed at the event. The three minute video, which is entirely in French, went viral with over 350,000 views in less than 3 days. Now that is très bien!
#3/ Boost Mobile “Cell Block” T.V. Spot
Ever had the feeling of being tied down, each time you get into a new mobile network? If your answer is yes, you know what Boost Mobile is talking about. The brand has stressed on the fact that each time you switch your phone or network, you are forced in to a contract. Not only can one relate to the video, but the prison metaphor truly captures the situation that many are in.
#4/ Magic City Tease: Car
The video is a teaser for the show ‘Magic city’. The show is based around a mob in Miami during the late 1950’s where the owners of Miami’s glitziest hotel makes a deal with the local mob to ensure the success of the establishment. The video received more than 230,000 views.
#5/ Miller Time Internship Episode 1: Philly
An RV, an open road and enough Miller Lite to get the state of Nevada. Miller sends 4 best friends on an internship which is actually in the form of a road trip. The interns have to complete various fun exciting and slightly embarrassing tasks such as bartending at the Xfinity, popin cans and learning cheer steps. Why weren’t these kinds of internships available when I was younger?!
