Remember when Arby’s tweeted Pharell Williams and asked for its hat back? That’s when brands began to… human (yes, I used it as a verb). With social media, the voice of brands is becoming more and more personable. Being the brand nerds we are, we indulged ourselves in the concept and stalked through some of the most “real-life” sounding brands and imagined who they’d be as real pepole, and this is what we came up with.

1. Starbucks

Reminds us of the poetic charmer Sam Smith.

2. Beggin

The pet care brand reminds us of another rapper… Kanye West.

3. Flo

Sounds a lot like another very smart and helpful cat lover, Taylor Swift.

4. Old Spice

Channeling their inner Ron Swanson of Parks and Recreation.

5. Pizza Hut

A man who lived to eat and tirelessly attempted to make every sandwich, pizza and even lady’s finger trifles better, Joey Tribbiani from Friends.

6. Burger King

How Mindy is that!

7. Arby’s

The king of all dad jokes, Phil Dunphy of Modern Family.

9. Cheetos

I’m not going to say this is a big deal but…this is kind of a big deal. http://usat.ly/1EsAqGX

11. Wheat Thins

Doesn’t Wheat Thins sound a lot like innovative cook and food philosopher Nigella Lawson.

12. T-Mobile

Open, cutthroat and hillarious Anna Kendrik.

13. DiGiorno
